Gehl also recommends that online business owners keep all holiday-related information within the first fold of their websites for the last push of the season. Include last-minute deals, instantly-deliverable options, and copy about why your products make great gifts.

This makes it easier for shoppers to spot holiday options right away, and also increases the odds that they will pause to make a purchase before navigating elsewhere.
