Party on the Moon Band to Perform at Virginia Beach Convention Center on New Year's Eve

Virginia Beach, VA (PRWEB) October 26, 2006 -- The Virginia Beach Convention Center is pleased to announce that the Party on the Moon band will perform at the new convention center on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2006. This festive New Year's Eve event at the Virginia Beach oceanfront is the perfect way to usher in 2007! The popular cover band and national recording artist, Party on the Moon, performed at Governor Tim Kaine's Inaugural Ball in Williamsburg in January and has performed with such noted artists including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Journey, The O'Jays, Huey Lewis, The Temptations, Bob Seger and more.
The event will take place in the Virginia Beach Convention Center's beautiful ballroom, the largest in Virginia. Doors open at 8:00pm and Party on the Moon will take the stage at 9pm. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased through www.tickets.com, the business office at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, or the Beach Events office at 302 22nd Street. Tickets include light hors d'oeuvres, champagne toast at midnight, breakfast buffet after the live "ball drop" in Times Square, party favors, free transportation to and from resort hotels and live entertainment.

Virginia Beach area hotels are offering discounted package rates, which include a one-night stay at the hotel and tickets to the Chick-fil¬-A Holiday Lights at the Beach in addition to the tickets to the New Year's Eve celebration at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
