One of the founders/designers of MamaOm MariaFer Florido, a stay at home mom, decided to come up with a line of bikinis that was trendy enough for moms to wear feeling comfortable and sexy, and pretty enough for little girls to play around in the sun. "We are really happy with the response we have gotten," says Florido. "There was a gap in the market for trendy and fashionable mommy and me clothing, bikinis and accessories, so we decided to come up with our own line."

MamaOm's beachwear collection also includes a line of beach cover-ups, which can take you from the beach to a lunch, to an afternoon stroll. All their pieces are designed and tested by moms; using the best quality imported fabrics. For them quality is a must, "many beach wear lines have pretty designs and colors, but once you feel their fabrics you become completely disappointed. Bad quality fabrics with Lycra can feel like rough plastic. We decided to use only the best material available for our collection" says Florido. And this can be felt in their pieces, and seen on their details and final touches.
