Accommodation

If your family is accompanying you, choose either the Coral Towers orthe Harborside Villas. The Coral Towers is centrally located, and isthe home to the Discovery Kids Club. Harborside has one, two or threebedroom villas, each with a fully-equipped kitchen. It is perfect forsome quiet family time. It also has a zero-entry childrens pool for alittle splash time. Harborside is a little further from the noisycenter of the resort, which you may be thankful for in the middle ofthe night.

Dining

Even with all the dining choices available at Atlantis Bahamas, if youwant to eat at specific restaurants, you may want to make yourreservations a few weeks before your vacation. A little extra planningcan save you the experience of a late-night buffet with children whoshould have been in bed a couple of hours earlier. Some of the mostpopular restaurants would be NoBu, Dunes and the Cafe Martinique. Youmay consider food prices to be on the high side, so you may want toconsider some of the prepaid food plans the resort offers. Choices willbe a little more limited, but if budget is a consideration, you will behappy you did.

Activities for Children

Kids will love the waterslides, especially the gigantic Mayan Templeslide. They will spend hours slipping and sliding over and over again.An important thing to consider while you are packing: everyone needsswimsuits without metal zippers, studs, rivets, etcetera. Suits withthese details are not allowed on the slides, and getting a replacementsuit at the resort will cost quite a bit more than you would spend athome. The Atlantis Bahamas Kids Club has a lot of activities for kidsfrom 3 to 12, so if you are hoping to snatch the occasional chance forgrownup entertainment, your kids are safe and supervised with lots offun things to do.

Casino

Extravagantly decorated with exquisite sculptures by glass artist DaleChihuly, the casino is the largest in the country. It includes over 800slot machines, and you can take your pick of games like baccarat,craps, roulette, blackjack and poker at the 75 game tables. Wagering onmajor sports events and on racetracks from the USA is also available ina comfortable lounge.

Spa

The Mandara Spa offers a full complement of treatments like massage,aromatherapy, salon services and facials. There are 24 treatment rooms,providing steam, sauna, and a thallosotherapy pool. Be sure and stop byfor some pampering before heading to the dining areas.
